Happy Holidays Everyone!

It’s been an exciting month at Community Services as we finish up the first phase of our marketing plan, celebrate our 13th annual Country Christmas Concert and begin the busy month of December with festive events and program parties. Thanks to the brilliant facilitation of Mainstreet Communications; our marketing strategies include relevant core values, purpose statements; even a brand promise is in the works. Thanks to the BC Job grant, we leveraged everyone’s perspective and learning into the marketing plan. The 13th annual concert was a huge success thanks to Producer, Rob Hess, who once again worked his Christmas magic as he hosted an amazing line up of talented entertainers to benefit Meals on Wheels. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces of folks who make a point of attending the concert and supporting the auction year after year. The auction boasted over 130-items thanks to the tremendous generosity of local businesses and companies. For many of us, the concert and auction event feels like the kick-off to the holidays amongst the beautiful ACT Theatre; the positive energy and camaraderie was palpable. Events like yesterdays concert remind us all that we have so much to be thankful for.  I wish everyone the very best for the holiday season and to hopefully start your December with a smile I leave you with a Christmas knock knock joke.
