By appointment/referral and Drop In (Thursday nights 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the Greg Moore Youth Centre).
 
Purpose Statement
Support for children and youth facing substance use and/or mental illness, and their parents.
 
About Program
If you are a youth living with substance use or mental health issues, this is a safe and informative place.
 
With a referral from your doctor to a psychiatrist by the name of Dr. Matt Chow; you will receive free support from the Youth Advocate.  The Youth Advocate can work with you, and if you wish, your family by setting up individual appointments and linking you to a ton of resources that are local and on-line.  The Youth Advocate is friendly and really approachable, he knowledgeable about mental health, addictions, counselling, education and peer support.
 
You can just drop in on Thursday nights at the Greg Moore Youth Centre from 4:00-6:00 pm.
 
This program is to connect with youth and link them with the resources they need.  There is no judgement or cost and confidentiality is super important.
