We are deeply moved by the generous donation of handmade quilts by the Ridge Meadows Quilters’ Guild, which will be used to not only support our deserving clients but the victims of the terrible fire that affected those living on Brown and 121st Avenue. Pictured alongside Helena and Derian is Kat Potter, president of the guild, who had this to say:
“We want them to know that the community is thinking of them. We hope having a handmade quilt to wrap around themselves will feel like a warm hug from the community and provide them with some comfort during this difficult time. We are so pleased to have built a relationship with Community Services to help facilitate the distribution of our quilts to their clients and the community!”
