Young people will share about their life experiences as a way to support parents & caregivers understanding of the young people in their life and in general.
Some topics that will be discussed include:
* How can I improve communication with the young person in my life?
* How do I start the hard conversations without making anyone feel uncomfortable?
* How do I talk about substance use?
* Where can I learn more?
Community will also have a chance to send their questions and curiosities in! Share this post widely to everyone you know who has young people in their lives.
Can’t wait to see you there! Oh…Did we mention there will be FOOD!
We will share more information as the event gets closer.
This event is in partnership with RISE, a partnership between the City of Maple Ridge and the Ridge Meadows RCMP and supported by the Building Safer Communities Fund.
