We’re honoured to support Pink Shirt Day! Let’s celebrate kindness today and everyday!

What is pink shirt day?

Pink Shirt Day is an anti-bullying awareness day that takes place on the last Wednesday of February each year. This day promotes kindness, inclusion, and bullying prevention in schools, workplaces, and communities. People wear pink to show their support and raise awareness about the impact of bullying.

Why a pink shirt?

The pink shirt movement began in 2007 when two high school students in Nova Scotia, David Shepherd and Travis Price, saw a younger student being bullied for wearing a pink shirt. In response, they bought and distributed pink shirts to their classmates to show support.

How can I get involved?

On Pink Shirt Day, wear a pink shirt to show your support for anti-bullying efforts and encourage friends, coworkers, and students to do the same.

Make an effort to practice kindness and inclusion in your community, workplace, or school.
