Children & Youth with Support Needs
The Children and Youth with Support Needs Program helps children and youth with support needs, develop social skills, build relationships and improve independent living skills through participation in community activities.
Funded by the Ministry of Child and Family Development
The Children and Youth with Support Needs program helps build life and social skills through activity based learning, socialization and community interaction. We also provide service to support needs youth transitioning into adult services.

Children & Youth with Support Needs Program Info
Children and youth with support needs who live in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows are eligible for one to one or group services. A referral from the Ministry of Children and Family Development – Children and Youth Support Needs is required. Please contact your social worker or call MCFD at 604 476-2800 press #1 for local office.
Teen Group alternating Tuesdays 5-7pm
Kids Group alternating Tuesdays 5-7pm
Transition group alternating Fridays 5-7pm
Active Group alternating Fridays 5-7pm
One to one Services for 6-18 year old..
Goal focused services for up to 1 year.
Generally once a week for up to 3 hrs a session.
Transition Group Teens
15-18 years old Building life and social skills through talk and peer support.
Dinner is provided.
Teen Group Youth
15-18 years old
Practising social and life skills through games and activities.
Dinner is provided.
Active Group Children
12-15 years old Learning social and life skills through game and activities.
Dinner is provided.
Kids Group Children
6-13 years old Learning social and life skills through games and activities.
A light meal is provided.
